Getting Started
02Getting Started with Acanalyzer
This guide walks you through the basic setup for the Acanalyzer Operating System, from onboarding your institution to preparing your first academic term.
1. Institutional Onboarding
To get started, your institution needs an approved account.
- Request Access: Use Book a Demo to begin the onboarding process.
- Verification: Our team verifies your institution and prepares your environment.
- Access Granted: Once approved, your administrators can sign in and complete setup.
2. Set Up Your First Term
Acanalyzer organizes academic records by term, so one of the first setup steps is creating the term your school is currently using.
- Go to School Management > Terms.
- Create a new term, such as
Trinity Term 2026. - Mark the correct term as active before entering records.
3. Add Your Data
You can start by entering records manually or by importing them in bulk.
Direct Entry
Create classes, staff records, and student profiles directly from the dashboard.
Bulk Upload
Use the Excel import flow when you need to add larger datasets.
- Download the platform template, if required.
- Match your spreadsheet columns to the expected fields.
- Upload the file and review the validation results before finalizing.
[!IMPORTANT] Make sure each student record has a unique identifier so records are not duplicated or assigned incorrectly.
4. Assign Roles and Permissions
Acanalyzer uses role-based access controls so each user only sees the tools and records relevant to them.
- Super Admin: Oversees school registration and high-level platform management.
- Admin: Manages institutional settings, records, and reporting.
- Teacher: Handles grading, behavior logging, and class-level workflows.
- Parent/Student: Views assigned progress, reports, and updates.
